Singapore Holds 2012 Asia International Fashion Show

The three-day “2012 Asia International Apparel Sourcing Fair” was held in Singapore. The purpose of this apparel purchase expo is to open up new apparel export markets. More than 30 clothing manufacturers in Bangladesh, 10 garment manufacturers from Sri Lanka, 7 manufacturers in Singapore and 6 manufacturers in Indonesia set up booths at this exhibition. At the same time, textile and apparel manufacturers from China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand also participated in this exhibition.

CEMS Global cooperated with the Export Promotion Agency to organize the exhibition at the Singapore Beach and Beach Convention Center.

The exhibition will contribute to the expansion of Singapore's ready-to-wear outfit, the organizers said in a statement.

Singaporean entity "Singapore Spring" has already made Singapore the second largest apparel purchasing center in the Asia Pacific region, second only to the relevant. The statement said that Singapore will soon become the world's center for the procurement of apparel, yarn and fabrics.

Through this exhibition, textile and apparel manufacturers can come into contact with each other and at the same time benefit the visiting buyers. Through “triangular trade”, a buyer can select a fabric supplier from a country in one booth and from another A country chooses a garment factory.

The world trade turmoil has changed a lot. At present, all major apparel purchasing agencies and offices in the world operate in Singapore.
